| I agree with Kevin about the teaching being the absolute key element above all other factors in the variables of educational styles. People also gravitate to whatever they experienced as a way of validating their own choices also. I can see both sides of the argument. i was profoundly relieved to go to a girls school at 11 as I came from a hugely female dominated family and I think I had a total of 5 conversations with boys all through primary so alien were they to me. Although it could be argued I should have gone to a mixed school for that very reason..I disagree though I think I would have just been stressed. My observation has been that coed schools, given that they are society writ-small, destroy many guyren before they are old enough or mature enough to deal with rivalries and disappointments.
