For a sweet 16, outdoor games that are fun, grown up, and are outdoor for teens? My sweet 16 is in June and im trying to put it all together. Some of my game ideas have been "lame" like capture the flag at night. and like water balloon dodge ball. So what are some outdoor games that grown up teens would like. |
| Paintball is really fun. The only thing is that youll have to find a field that will rent to everyone but you could also do a water balloon war across your whole neighborhood. Have 2 bases on the opposite sides of the neighborhood or park or wherever you will play with a crate full of like 100-200 water baloons each. |
What are some outdoor party games for teens? My school's homecoming is this week and I am having an after-game party at my house. We are in high school now so no guyish games please. Outdoor stuff would be great, but indoor is good too. Thanks for your ideas! :) |
| i say no games. ur 2 old. if u MUST do games i say u play snowball, thats when the host of the party stands in the middle of a cirlce of all the guests and music plays and the host picks any boy at the party and he has to come out and dance with host, then someone says snowball and the host picks a new guy and the guys picks a new girl. u keep doing that until everyone is dancing with someone, then u do a guys choose ladies cannot refuse round and stuff like that, its fun and not babyish |
Any outdoor activity suggestions for a large group of teens with language barriers? I am going to Cambodia and am in charge of outdoor activities with a group of teenagers. There will be roughly 20 teens. We will have language barrier issues, so the easier the game to understand the better. Any suggestions? |
* Football -- which they know according to the first site below
* The second site contains games that they have played.
* Source: Me ---Horseshoes, Three legged race, baseball
Sorry at this time I can not think of any more. I hope this helps you. :) |

Having an outdoor birthday party with boys and girls. What are some fun games for teens? I'm turning 13 and there will be all my teenage friends do you know any fun games for teens? |
Tape a word on everyone's back (A person, place or thing). Everyone else can see it, except the person wearing it. Everyone mingles and can ask other guests questions about what they are, but only yes and no answers can be given. For example, "Am I a thing?" " Am I found in the house?"
Each person is only allowed to ask one question of another player, then they have to move on to the next person. This game is a great ice-breaker - gets everyone comfortable, talking to each other! |
What are some good not cheesy outdoor party games for 17 year old teens? im hosting a party with a bunch of friends at a park and there is a big field that i wanna have some good stuff to do! help! |
Well sports are always fun, so have a ball handy (football, soccer ball, whatever you like the most). A boombox - eerrr - mp3 player? Whatever it would be nowadays. Anyway, music is good, because people can dance or just listen to it.
Potato sack races are fun, but those would probably fall into the "cheesy" category. And you should have some games that are not physical also.
Park parties are fun.
Edit: The next poster has a good point too. Bring a deck of cards. I'd avoid the stripping, but card games can be fun.
And tell people they can bring their dogs. Everyone loves dogs.
If your friends are creative, geeky types, role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons can be a lot of fun too, but you kind of need someone that already knows how to play to run the game.
Other things: frisbees, pinatas, water guns, paintball. |
What outdoor recreational equipment is best to buy for guys/teens? We live in a very rural area where city parks or playgrounds, skating rinks or public pools are really at a minimum, and have an older young-adult son who as a teenager got into some trouble here, but the new family plan to prevent this with the current teenager is this: if we have "cool stuff" for our son and his friends to do HERE, and this is the "hang out", we'll know where our guy is, who he is with and what he is doing AND we'll provide him with fun things to do so he isn't bored and likely to get into trouble. We've considered a small pool as we all love swimming, he wants to save his own money and buy a hot tub (as well as the wiring to power it - thoughtful young man!), I thought maybe a trampoline and he isn't especially fond of basketball, but I thought a basketball hoop would be good and fairly inexpensive. Any other ideas? I also want to be able to include younger guyren, for siblings with tag-alongs. Swingset? Playhouse/fort? Other ideas? |
| A pool would be very expensive. If you want something you can set up straight away you could go for a Basketball hoop. A fort is probably a bit guyish, but you could get him involved in building one for the younger guyren. If he likes to make things, perhaps he could have his own workshop. If you have alot of land aven something like a small beach volley ball court or soccer goal at one end of the back yard. Cricket pitch is another idea. |
What material is best for an outdoor basketball court for teens: concrete or asphalt? Pros/cons of each? Court will be used mainly for individual skill development - sometimes one-on-one or 3-on-3 games. |
| Well when i play on asphalt, i get shin splines. I personally like playing on concrete. Its a little less pain full if you fall. |
