Using bikini wax strip kits for at home Brazilian? I found a bikini wax strip kit at a department store, but does that mean it's restricted to doing bikini waxes or can I use it for to do a Brazilian wax on myself too? |
| That's a big no no! Never ever do your own brazilian wax. You can actually tear skin, there's a more technical term but i'm not sure what it's called. |
Why do girls strip down to a bikini but wouldn't to underwear? I notice girls and women at the beach will strip down if they have a Dolce Bikini on, but if the tag said Victorias Secret, and was the same style, they wouldn't..... why? |
| That is a really good question! LOL but I do believe it is because panties and bras may be see through. lol then maybe I should go swimming with my thong and bra one day ;) lol in my private pool of course :) |
Are there any other cute designs that girls get other than a "landing strip" for bikini wax? I get bikini wax's regularly, and I've gotten the landing strip before, but is that the only cute design? |
Style
The modification of pubic hair can also be considered a statement about one's style or personal lifestyle as can leaving it unmodified. The fashion designer Mary Quant was famously proud that her husband trimmed hers into a heart shape. In the 1930s the Baron Martin Stillman von Brabus shaved the pubic hair of his lover Margaret, Duchess of Argyll into a representation of the Mercedes-Benz 3-pointed star.
Some common styles include:
Bikini waxing - removing the sides of the triangle so that pubic hair cannot be seen while wearing swimwear (either gender)
Brazilian waxing - removing most of the pubic hair except a small line (called a "landing strip") over the clitoris or penis
Hollywood waxing - removing all of the pubic hair, often seen as an extension of Brazilian waxing.
Stripping - removing hair from both sides of labia majora, leaving a strip (females) sometimes called a "landing strip"
Dyed - coloring hair to match hair on the head, or to give it a unique look (for example, red--in the shape of a heart)
Unmanaged - Little or no trimming or maintenance. |
How to wax my bikini area with a home waxing kit int he landing strip style? I have brought a home bikini waxing kit but I am unsure on how to go about it. I think I want a to go for the landing strip style but I don't know what men would finds the most attractive. But also I don't really know how to do it and a little unsure what it should look like and how far down it should go.Any other tips and styles will help. |
| would rather take the motor out of my car then wax down there There are things that should be left to us professionals |
What is the best wax strip to use on the bikini line? I want to get a store bought wax strip. Any suggestions? |
| I have used Sally Hansen wax strips and they worked ok, the wax strips from Avon worked better, but the best wax I have has was from a professional. Honestly if you have coarse hair your best bet is not doing strips at all and to use hot wax kits and if you have a friend that can help that makes it easier! Good luck |
Ladies: would you strip and model in bikini in a school campus? as part of your personality development program? How about those who are not considered sexy, can't they develop their personality? What kind of school ,especially a catholic school would require their young students to strip? I am not ranting, just curious. |
| If it is a proper program, there would be proper facilities and arrangements. However, for a "school", I consider such a program too much and way outside the requirements of the school's syllabus... |
I already asked how to shave a bikini line and i got landing strip. now what is a landing strip? is landin strip just a line down the middle? |

Is it still considered a Brazilian bikini wax if you leave a landing strip? Anyone had any helpful hints for the painful process? |
Yes, it is Brazilian wax.
I always go about a week AFTER the end of my period. The closer you get to your period,, the more sensitive the area. I've found that if I go after I am done, it's the least painful. Your first time is always the worst, it can only get better from there. I usually take an ibuprofen about 30 minutes to an hour before going in--this helps with the pain and any swelling. Get referrals from friends/relatives or do some research on local salons in your area, don't just pick a name out of a phone book. A good esthetician will make the process smooth and fast. I always like to wear "loose" clothing like sweat pants when I go.
Just try to relax--it's not as bad as you think it's going to be. |
